MDI® Receives Quality Assurance Certification

LOUISVILLE, KY - MDI®, a provider of third party logistical support services for the healthcare industry, today received re-certification under ISO 9002-1994 standards and was recommended for certification under the new ISO 9001-2000 standards by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

ISO 9000 is a series of standards for quality management and quality assurance. The standards contain no technical requirements for a specific manufacturing or service industry, but they do provide a framework for a company to construct its management system to ensure that the company delivers a quality product or service on a consistent basis, understands its customers' requirements, measures itself against those requirements, and ensures continual improvement in all of its processes.
