MDI Launches New Transportation Service

LOUISVILLE, KY — MDI (Making Distribution Intelligent®) has announced it is expanding its operations to include state- of-the art temperature controlled transportation services for frozen plasma and frozen and refrigerated pharmaceutical and biologic products. This new service, called Integrated Logistics Operations, features state-of-the-art equipment and technology for cooling, storage, transportation, and communication.

With Integrated Logistics Operations, MDI will provide the best in transportation technology together with the first-class service for which the company is known. Featured technologies like vehicle satellite tracking, satellite communication, real-time temperature monitoring, remote inventory and temperature checks, and high performance cooling capacities allow unprecedented access to shipping information from anywhere in the world while ensuring that products are transported safely, reliably, and on-time.
